　　父辈们在谈起修建八一广场的经历时，总是眉飞色舞，豪气干云，仿佛是凯旋的战士，浑身洋溢着胜利的骄傲和喜悦。那时我还小，尚不知八一广场在何方，但在我幼小的心灵里，早早地播下了心仪的种子。

　　1982年9月的一个周末的夜晚，几个同学约了去八一广场纳凉。迎着桔黄色的灯光，迈着欢快的脚步，来到了令我朝思暮想的八一广场。

　　当时，在我的心目中，八一广场真可以用广袤辽阔来形容，偌大的广场，夜色中灯火璀璨，端庄的主席台，给人一份静谧；雄伟的万岁馆，给人一份肃穆；古色的博物馆，给人一份神秘；气派的画报社，给人一份新潮。我们随着人流来到了八一广场的休闲区域，挑了一处偏僻的草地，围坐起来。趁着同学们谈天说地，我起身绕过纳凉的人们，伫立在广场中央仔细观赏，只见夜幕深邃高远，灯光犹如流水，温柔地泻在人们的身上，也给了我披金戴银的感觉。凉风习习，飘向远方，我的思绪拉向了更早的一段岁月。

　　脚下的这片土地，曾经见证过历史峥嵘，留下过令人肃然起敬的一页。明清时期，这里曾经是一条护城河和一片沼泽地，守护着南昌人民，一座城池固若金汤，保了一方平安。随后的光绪年间，清政府在城边这片沼泽地上开辟出一个训练新兵的大校场。一批批热血男儿从这里学成后奔向军营，奔赴战场，但苦于清朝帝制腐朽，官员腐败，最终还是没有逃脱兵溃卒散的命运。

　　历史风云际会，新旧交替成为必然。１９１１年，武昌起义推翻清朝帝制，各地革命风起云涌，就在脚下这片土地，国民革命军完成集结，吹响了推翻清朝政府在江西统治的号角，一霎时
